Letter to Class of '62

Fifty years!! Can you imagine?!?! This year marks the 50th anniversary of that gorgeous spring day in May of 1962 when we graduated. Many of us have not seen one another since. This October, beginning Friday the 12th will be a great opportunity to re-connect; see the town and surroundings in the peak foliage season by attending the LSAA reunion.

The Lenox School reunion offers us the following:

  • Friday OCT 12  - The LSAA golf tourney starting around 11:30 AM
  • Saturday OCT 13  -

Annual LSAA Business meeting starting around 9:30AM

  LSAA Luncheon at Noon

Campus tour of grounds and buildings starting around 2:00PM

Hymn Sing at Trinity Chapel around 5:00PM (at the risk of demerits - stomp our feet during "Onward Christian Soldiers")

The annual Lenox School Alumni Association cocktail and dinner event at The Lenox Club starting around 6:00PM

TB Boyd, Jack Hill, Bob Rush and I attended last year's reunion and had a great time. The class of 1961 brought so many alumni back for their 50th that a new attendance record was set at the Saturday evening dinner. The class of ‘61 also instituted a Class Dinner on Friday night and maybe we should continue this tradition.

The four of us have formed a semi-coordinated team to encourage a large attendance. Several classmates have already begun contacting us and expressing an interest in attending. We need to find the "missing" and those whose addresses we have but that are out of date. TB Boyd (trustin@hotmail.com) has agreed to be the point man for centralized contact. We need to hear from you!

We are suggesting The Gateways Inn (1-888-492-9466) close to Trinity Church as Class lodging HQ. We will keep you all informed as plans evolve via email and the P&S but want to hear from you as well. We hope to see you this October. Here is the LSAA website which also has info on the reunion:

See you in OCT!! TB Boyd, Jack Hill, Bob Rush & Doug Hardy

Letter to Class of '70

Can you believe it has been 40 years since we gathered at “The Lenox House” for our last meal as a class? I’m not sure who it was, maybe Mr. Pickett, who asked us to look around and realize after 4 years of eating together this would be one of the last times we would all be together. Well guess what, we have another chance and it even comes with better food and nicer surroundings at the Lenox Club, a turn of the century Lenox Estate.

Jeff Smith and I are trying to gather as many of our class that can make it to come to the Lenox School Reunion during the weekend of October 15th-17th. The last few years each class coming for a milestone reunion (40-50-60) has had a competition to see how many Alumni attend. Many come from great distances. It is truly a great experience to see everyone.

More details on our gathering will follow in the next few months. In the meantime, please take a minute to look over the most up-to-date class list. If you have had contact with classmates listed as missing, get a note to Jeff or me. Check out the Lenox school web site on the web See you in the Fall.
